The Big H
It’s become a familiar sight, but if you’re new to the area you may not be familiar with the Big H. This giant sculpture of an H is the gateway to the city and looks spectacular when lit up at night. It makes for a great photo opportunity.
Shirley Plantation
Shirley Plantation is still a working plantation, but it’s also a lot more than that. It also happens to be the oldest family-run farm in all of North America dating back to 1614. It’s a great spot for a visit with a restaurant on-site and a winery.
Hopewell City Park
If you’re just looking for a nice place to walk, Hopewell City Park has a nice wooded trail to explore and a boardwalk. There’s a playground for the kids and a nice picnic area as well.
